What to expect in a Kripalu Yoga class at the Belleair Garden Club
- Classes begin with warm-up movements and breath awareness to prepare you for yoga postures.
- The heart of each class is a sequence of postures that stretch, strengthen, and balance your body.
- Each class ends with deep relaxation and meditation.
Classes are ranging from gentle Kripalu Slow Flow, Level 1 to vigorous Kripalu Power Flow, Level 2 classes.
Yoga for Arthritis and the Heart is a Chair Yoga class open to all Levels. We practice sitting in a chair or standing using a chair as support. Chair Yoga benefits your cardiovascular health, can relieve stiffness and pain and improves muscle and bone strength.

Grounded in the ancient Pashupat tradition, Kripalu Yoga was developed by a large ashram community of North American yoga enthusiasts in the Berkshires of Massachusetts during three decades of intensive practice.
